What I Ate Wednesday

I start every morning with lemon/ginger water… When I have lemon and ginger.  I didn’t grocery shop this weekend, so I just had a large mason jar of water.  I am always amazed at how thirsty I am in the mornings.


For breakfast I had a smoothie.  It has 2 frozen bananas, 1 c frozen strawberries, a handful of spinach, 1 t. cacao powder, 1/2 scoop of vanilla protein powder and 1/2 c of water to help mix it around.  I topped it with coconut flakes, chia seeds and gogi berries.


Lunch was chickpea salad with spinach and tomato.  I also had a few crackers.


I also had two bottles of water while at work.  We have a large recycle bin so the plastic will be tossed there.



Dinner was a bean and rice burrito by Amy’s.  Target had them on sale and I had 20% in my Cartwheel.  Score!  I sliced some tomato and cucumber.  And what vegan day would be complete without nutritional yeast.  I also added a few drops of hot sauce.


I don’t have PMS, but I was feeling very anxious about a few things.  I decided some nice calming tea and a Lara Bar would be the best way to end the day.
